3:20 pm	It's been a long time since I updated here. I guess it's been a year. Um, I have a nano novel idea. It is a good one, I think though it needs work on some of the ideas. My biggest concern is that it is a science fiction novel that is dark, rather than the comedy I usually write. Perhaps if I'm really stuck I can shift the tone to a dark comedy. Hmm, dark comedy. I wonder if that would work. (Comment on this)

11:34 am	The emphasis of the story has shifted slightly. I think that the story will not just focus on our superspy hero, but also his high flying officer type brother and mage sister. They won't, for the most part, be together, and the roles will be of varying importance, but I like the idea of doing the story from the POV of several players... I am going to make sure theres a place for the little human species found last year in Flores. I shalln't call them hobbits, but they;ll be there. In fact, I doubt any hobbits will be in the book. I'm also undecided about werewolves. I hadn't planned on having them in there, vampires yes, but they have a point and I've manged to bash the vampire idea around enough to make it slightly new and intersting. I need to think about werewolves though. I watched Underworld last night, and rather liked the ideas in it. If I can make it good, I'll do it. If not, well, I guess they can join the dragons in the realm of the dinosaurs. Things to research this weekend. 11:06 pm	I am now officially worried. When I first came up with my idea, well, it seemed like a fun quick novel that was achievable in November. A cool little diversion from all the huge ideas that plauge me. My muse has ADD. I found myself planning the book in terms of 3 parts just a few minutes ago. I conceeded that November might only get me as far as the end of book one. I know the begining. I know the end. And subconciously I know the road is long. I have no idea how I'll get there. Is this what Stephen King did for the Dark Tower? Oh well. At least I'm vested in the story now. (Comment on this)
